Blaxyy has just dropped his "Sound's Burrito" recipe! Here it is:
Sound’s Burrito
For this recipe. we have kindly asked some of the higher staff members to give their input on what should be inside of their favourite burrito, including but not limited to: SoundDrout, Bhibbi, and FrozenHyper.
Ingredients:
2 large flour tortillas
300 grams chicken breast, diced (Bhibbi)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
0.5 teaspoons chili powder
150 grams cooked rice
100 grams black beans, drained
4 tablespoons guacamole (FrozenHyper)
3 tablespoons sour cream (FrozenHyper)
4 tablespoons salsa (FrozenHyper)
60 grams shredded cheese (SoundDrout)
Note: Swap chicken for seasoned ground beef for a “Meat Lovers" (SoundDrout) variant. Add jalapeños for heat.
Directions:
Season the chicken: Toss 300 grams of diced chicken breast with 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of cumin, and 0.5 teaspoons of chili powder until evenly coated.
Cook the chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
Warm the tortillas: Warm 2 large flour tortillas in a dry pan or microwave for about 20 seconds until soft and pliable.
Layer the base: Place each tortilla on a flat surface. Spread 150 grams of cooked rice and 100 grams of drained black beans down the center of each tortilla.
Add the chicken: Divide the cooked chicken evenly between the two tortillas and place it on top of the rice and beans.
Add the toppings: Top each burrito with 2 tablespoons of guacamole, 1.5 tablespoons of sour cream, 2 tablespoons of salsa, and 30 grams of shredded cheese.
Roll it up: Fold the sides of each tortilla inward, then roll tightly from the bottom up, keeping the filling securely inside. Optionally, place the burritos seam-side down in a dry pan and sear for about 2 minutes until crispy and golden.
