Suggest a Connections!

Sound's World Times Connections, similar to the New York Times' Connections, is a minigame where you have 16 words and phrases to sort into four groups of 4 based on similarities. (For example, dog, cat, tiger, and bird are all animals, so they would be grouped.)

The four groups of 4 are sorted by difficulty.

Yellow group = Easiest

Green group = Less easy

Blue group = Harder

Purple group = Hardest

If you want to suggest a Sound's World Times Connections, DM @DatMrDolphin, the Editor-in-Chief of the Sound's World Times, on Discord, or email us at soundsworldtimes@gmail.com. Ensure your Connections adhere to the following guidelines:

• It must have 16 words sorted into 4 groups of 4, with each group progressively getting more difficult. 

• Your Connections should be Sound's World–related. (Non-Sound's World–related Connections, such as ones about other servers, may be permissible at the discretion of DatMrDolphin.)

• Your Connections must follow all Sound's World rules and Discord policies (ToS, Guidelines, and other policies).

• Ensure your Connections puzzle is balanced (neither too easy nor too hard). We trust your judgment on this one, but your Connections should be balanced and engaging, and not too hard (ensuring an experienced and active Sound's World member can figure out the Connections without excessive fuss).

• Ensure the words and phrases in your Connections aren't too long (each option should preferably be under 20 characters, or under about 4 words). This is because if your options are long, it can be more difficult to format the Connections on our newspaper and the answers page.

• The Sound's World Times reserves the right to accept, deny, or edit any Connections suggestions we receive.

• If your Connections suggestion is accepted, we will credit you when it is featured on the Sound's World Times (which, if no other suggestions are waiting in the queue, should occur in the next Sound's World Times issue from when you suggested it).
